I always stay at this hotel in Eigenthal. No regrets. Staff helped me return my sim cards left in the room. Perfect place, has everything I need. Coming back for Christmas.

Everything was so wonderful - the always helpful staff, the magnificent location with mount Pilatus closeby and the lovely countryside. This hotel offers a mountain view straight from bed and even the bathroom has a view - sheep with bells on their necks munching on the grass just outside the window. You can take lovely walks around the countryside and admire the mountains and streams. Wild animals such as roe deer can be seen even from your terrace. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway to the country and I especially recommend you try their pangassius from the restaurant menu, it's excellent! They also make their own bread and jams which are delicious!

Hotel Hammer is a very nice hotel where you feel like part of the family. Very clean and quiet. Nice vieuw from the room with balcony and from the terras. Breakfast was super and the cooking is very good. The staf pays really good attention to all the details. We are absolutely going back there probably with our children and their partners. The breathtaking view and charming ambiance with a lovely terrace make this hotel a jaw-dropping escape. The spacious rooms with balconies and large private baths offer a super relaxing stay. The abundant breakfast with fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, and breads is mind-blowing. The helpful and courteous staff, despite limited English, ensure an excellent experience. The peaceful location amidst meadows and mountains is perfect for hiking and exploring nature. The tastefully decorated rooms and traditional communal areas add to the wow factor. Don't miss out on the delicious Swiss dinner too!

Fantastic location, family style hotel. But do not expect the classical hotel: no tv. You come here to enjoy a quiet, peaceful area. Since the hotel was not full, I got a free upgrade, without asking it: bigger room with view on the mountains. Internet and phone are working fine. Food with local products, especially the breakfeast, which comes at extra cost but is nice: local cheese, ham and marmelade, fresh brioche and bread.
Carefull: narrow road.

Incredible location, breathtaking views from the balcony of our room and the sun terrace.. Being out of season, it was very peaceful, which is what we were looking for. Once the sun had gone down there was nothing to do but read/talk so avoid if you need entertainment. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and the owner is great for advice on walks & excursions in the local area and Lucerne. Food and drink was very good, breakfasts huge. Would love to return sometime!
Expensive (especially as breakfast is not included), but comparable with price of other accommodation in Switzerland.

The hotel offers stunning views and a traditional ambiance, with authentic spaces and a beautiful view of Mount Pilatus and the valley. It's located in a quiet, nature-filled area, perfect for hiking, yet only a 20-minute drive to Luzern. the rooms are clean, spacious, and offer a private terrace with panoramic views. the continental breakfast is served indoors or outdoors, with delicious coffee and chef's scrambled eggs. the restaurant is frequented by locals and serves high-quality, albeit slightly expensive, Swiss cuisine. the service goes above and beyond, with friendly staff who anticipate your needs and provide great hospitality.
Felt so well taken care of, no reason to complain.

Just great. Excellent food, personable host, and extremely restful (so quiet up there). It's very easy to take the Nur. 71 bus to the B&B from the Lucern SBB. I recommend this place unreservedly.

We had an amazing time at this hidden gem in the Lucerne area. The hotel is located in a peaceful green area, offering a perfect escape from the city. The recently renovated hotel had all the characteristics of a traditional Swiss house, but with modern amenities. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The wifi was strong and reliable, and the food was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend trying the Schnitzel sandwich - it was mouthwatering!
The noise within the hotel. The old wooden floors were quite creaky, and we could hear the guests walking in the room above us.
